An Irving man reeled in a record catch Thursday in the Elm Fork of the Trinity River with the largest hybrid striped bass caught with a fly rod in Texas. Fly Rod or your 9'6" salmon G-Rod? Congratulations moonriver!

Hard to tell at 60 mph but I think this was "cleaned up". It looked like the big logs were pulled to each side of the river. Has anyone else seen it?

I figured when I called them and said the logs were touching the top of the bridge, they would get it cleared out. Unfortunately we need a good flash flood to hopefully clear out the bend. Saw about 6 vehicles parked along 380 on Wednesday last week. Can't imagine the fishing was any good as the water was chocolate brown.
