Keepers: 11 crappie, 4 SB's and 1 hybrid.

Throwbacks: 199847563 (might be a tad bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea)

About 2 1/2 hrs Friday evening in one little 15' area. They were picky as can be about location and presentation, but any color worked.

Is it for sale? Saw one parked on 380 about 10:00 this morning. How did you do?

I didn't make it. Popped my knee last night and can barely walk. That wasn't my truck then.

Sandy lake spillway, aka Carrollton dam is off limits by the spillway. Cops just told me that it's not legal to fish there.

It's been hit or miss between Ray Roberts and Lewisville. Only had one truly good day (last weekend) with a mixed stringer of crappie, SB and hybrid. Most other days, it's just dinkfest. Caught 40-45 throwbacks yesterday. Not a single keeper.

Great fish! Read the article today. I fish that area often. Lesson of the day:If you want to set records, know what the records are. Congrats on the fish!
