Fish looks to be a little on the skinny side; big head. Can't tell how thick. Empty stomach.
Maybe 1.2 lbs.

that crappie is way older than it is big. Has the head of a much larger crappie.

It's shore got a big ole mouth. I'd venture to guess it may weigh in at 1.27 lb on a digital scale.

Rod & Reel PB: Blue Cat 53 lbs/12 lb test, Flathead Cat 78 lbs/20 lb test, Channel Cat 17 lbs 12 lb test, Texas common carp 40 lbs/12 lb test, White crappie 2.8 lbs, Black crappie 2.3 lbs all Lake Conroe

Exactly 14". Yes, it is (was) an old crappie, thick shoulders, but somewhat thin in other places. I caught her on Dec 31. In hindsight I should've probably let her go, but I haven't crappie fished for a long time, so my greedy side won.

No good scales at home, can't tell her weight. I'd say 1.8lb. This is white crappie, black ones are bulkier when they reach this size.
