I'm with you Andrew...wish they would start tournament fishing a little later....like they use to....late feb. and early march. Just seems like everyone is trying to start earlier than the other, but they are still getting their money.

Postponing the the opening dates of the circuit events inevitably pushes them deeper into the hot summer months. Livewell mortality and deep fish not fizzed correctly leads to dead loss.

I'd rather bundle up than face the music from the anti fishing crowd....

Yep. Good to hear a report though and could lead someone in the right direction. We will see what this next cold spell does to water temps.

not me on later tournaments....depends on the fisherman and his fish care....of course it is a little tougher in the summer, but i sure liked punching that grass...when there was some, lol.....everyone has got their opinion.

I'm with Andrew, we are going to freeze our Choochies off in a couple of week more than likley.

I think its been in the 30's for the last 2 BFL's on Rayburn.
