Weather was perfect for some New Years fishing. Didn't get a ton of bites but caught a few decent fish. Happy New Year to everyone.

Great New Year's Day fishing weather. It seems the bite has picked up slightly. Water temp is above 60 which is unusual for this time of year.

I caught one that was as fat a fish as I ever have seen. Looked to be about 3.25 to 3.5 but was short enough that I had to lay it on the stick to see if it was a keeper. It was just over 16 by a quarter of a inch. Fish was practically square.
