Definitely a pattern of aggressive Top Water Speckled Trout Action. Had my limit, so I had to stop fishing by 9:00. Did not want to keep catching Trout and take a chance on killing them. First cast, caught a Speck. Three cast in a row, 3 Specks landed. Some were just under 15", ended up with a limit of Specks mostly in the 18"-20" range. Fishing in about 6'-8' of water, using an old Top Dog. changing up to a Mirror Dine, and a Soft Dine, the action never stopped for about 2 hours. If things slowed down, I would move a couple of hundred yards, and the action started up again. Could not count how many strikes, or how many Specks hammered the Top Dog. This is not unusual for Sabine Lake this time of year. With the right weather conditions, Top Water Speckled Trout fishing can be off the charts. www.luckylindycharter.com
