Actually using my graphs to find target fish (not just structure/cover) before I drop the TM to fish an off-shore area. Too often I don't discriminate enough to find higher probability areas. I just fish the good looking stuff without confirming that fish are relating in an appropriate manner to be more likely to bite.
It means I have rarely been skunked this year, but I also haven't gone on a real tear either.

I don't have any techniques I wanna learn but I do have one I want improve on; there's always room for improvement. I'd like to improve on throwing deep crankbaits and football jigs during the Summer.

Ned rig using a spinning rod with 10lb braid to 7.3lb floro , early spring technique to take advantage of the crayfish spawn cycle . Second , get better using my electronics , I always get to excited to start fishing and don't ever spend enough time learning the advantages of my new electronics . Lastly , use my newly purchased Manns Jelly worms on a Trig because that's how I caught em 40 years ago . Happy New Year , safe boating , tight lines !!

Hi, I'm Faith and I'm addicted to fishing. Now if you don't mind, I'll be getting back to my fishing.

For me it's big swim baits, I have caught tons of bass on a 5" magic shad but that was at a private tank so it doesn't really count.
