Read that B.A.S.S. approved the use of 10' rods.

If they catch on, predict it will probably drive the cost of new bass boats up another 5K.

Lovely!

I heard the all natural cane 10 footers were incredibly light and very sensitive.

Standing in the surf and flinging a bait to the third trough? Maybe. On the deck of my boat? I don't think so.

Haha....my skipping rod (7'3" Cara Amistad) has a loose eye, so I used my 7'6" Zillion. I must have drove the tip into the water a dozen times this evening before I got used to 3 more inches! I COULDN'T IMAGINE A 10 FOOTER!!

10' rod for throwing a 10xd would be awesome and automatically get 3' deeper with any crank bait

no. It wasn't a good day haha. I slid the boat off the trailer and parked the truck. Then realized I left my nav lights on from last weekends tourney. Lol. Very dead battery. So I had to put down the trolling motor and fish one area until the starting battery absorbed enough charge from the trolling batteries. By then, it was just about time to put the boat back on the trailer. I didn't get a chance to go to where the fish were.

Going out to get a better start on the new year here in a few minutes.
