Isnt Fairfield closed for a few weeks for their annual hunting deal they have going on down there? Might want to check on that first bud.

Has anyone been doing alright at Fairfield? The TPW Stoped stocking it in after the fish die off in 2010 or so, and there has been die offs since then. I know it is full of tilapia.

23lbs won a local tourney there Monday and 17 was needed to place. I'd say it has some good fish.

Trust Donald with whatever he tells you. He has helped me out more times then I can remember. His spinner baits are also absolutely amazing. My dad and I will be fishing there tomorrow, hopefully the fish will be on!

That's funny was jt talking to a buddy that lives close to Dallas that wants to meet between Dallas and Houston somewhere to go fishing and lake Fairfield came up.

I tried to get there last monday, but a wheel bearing seal had other ideas, thankfully the wheel stayed on the spindle. When the trailer was lifted up the wheel fell off.
I would like to give a shout out to MG Automotive, in Fairfield. They let me keep me the trailer/boat at his shop overnight. I brought him a new axle, with hubs and leaf springs tuesday and he had me rolling back to Dallas in an hour and a half.
I'll be there in the morning.
