I'm needing to replace my 36v trolling motor plug and receptacle on my ranger. Having a hard time finding a 36v plug. Will a 24v work or does it have to be 36v? Thanks

The Battery Tender trolling motor plug is rated for 12 , 24, or 36v

you can google this to find better prices...looks like a well made plug.

Depending on the plug, yes, you can use a 24V plug. I would get the one that accepts the wires with a definite screw compression connection and not use butt connectors.
