Thanks for the info. I don't remember that as a format option on the lowrance but I will look again tomorrow.

Who did you email to get the coordinates? The guy on here who helped put them out?

Yes. I sent Dennis a private message. I didn't get a chance to look this morning. I was able to find some fish and caught a limit. Planning to try again this evening.

An update for those that may be in the same situation:

The lowrance does not have a degrees decimal setting, but it has degrees. This setting only has 5 places after the decimal point and the coordinates I received have 6 places after the decimal point.

So, I chose the degrees format and entered the coordinates without the last digit. I checked a couple of spots with my down imaging and I think I saw the fish attractors. There weren't any fish around the couple I checked, so I'm guessing what I saw is the attractor.

This is what my degrees input looks like:

Do you think entering the coordinates without the 6th digit works fine?

I just did that with my lowrance and it came out to be the same as the map that the tpwd gave me.

Idk, I haven't heard back from Dennis. I know he's a busy man so I trust he'll get to me when he can. Did you find any fish anywhere else? smile

Yes Fishbonz. That's the one I used to manually enter the coordinates.

I caught a limit every day I fished except yesterday (morning storms and too windy when I finally got out). The key for me was finding brush in the 22 to 26 foot range or fishing the edge of the channel in the same depth range.

Over a two day period (can't remember which two days), I caught 13 fish 14 to 16 inches with 3 a little over 16 inches. Caught almost all of the fish on Thermocline lil fry and tadpole.
