Fished Dunlap today 8:30 - 2:00. Water temp 70 degrees. Fish super active from 8:30 - 10:20 when the mini front moved in. Then they turned off for about 2 hours. Caught 5 bass, 3 catfish, and around 25 bluegill. FINALLY caught a decent red ear about mid lake. (3 keepers total)That's them on the new Yeti cooler from Santa.(I really love that guy) As usual, night crawlers on the bottom...various depths.

Vogey, in case you have the wrong impression of Mr. Banker, he is not a financial banker as someone, I won't say who, thought for a long time. IE A banker that always fishes. No, he is a banker always fishing from the bank, a banker. Though he occasionally can be seen in a boat. He is indeed a fisherman extraordinaire.

Say Mr. Banker, the Nueces run should be starting soon I hope. Robert and I are going this year.

Oh...so maybe he should call himself "Sometimes Banker" or "Mostly Banker" ? I thought in some past posts with USMC GUY it looked like he was fishing out of a boat. Chuck must know a lot of folks that live on the rivers to be able to fish from so many docks. Anyway, I know he is "The Standard" and mostly responsible for my getting back to ultra lite fishing after 40 + years of chasing bass only.

Love that Trifecta! woot

Side Note: I was fishing Mcqueeney and did well fishing the main lake. Caught good numbers of both Crappie and Bluegill! 12 to 15 feet by brush piles and drop offs! Jigs Chartreuse/Pink were working the best! hooked

Vogey. There is a ramp you can use in the Lake Side Subdivision which is off of FM 725. There is a sign to the subdivision by a storage unit at FM 725. Follow the road to the end and then take a left. Follow that road all the way to the ramp! The ramp is owned by the Lake Side HOA and all they ask is that you keep the area clean and do not clean any fish there! Been launching there with friends a lot over the years with no problems. thumb

Side Note: The ramp is not that good. Your boat should do fine. I would not launch any boat over 21 foot. Just my two cents. 2cents
