I really miss Easy Street marina.. Which was lost in the Big Sandy flood. does anyone know of any docks or Marinas I can go to in this area ? fee is no problem as long as its not outragous, any help is appreciated. I have more kids wanting to go than my 18 ft can handle .

I have heard that Hiline on Buchanan has reopened. That dock is awesome. But Paradise Point is where its at on Buchanan...Bob and Penny are great people, sell great food at their little cafe, and have a great LITTLE dock that is covered w brush hanging. Hiline is way. Igger and has lots of brush too.

The dock on granger is tiny with not much brush and gets crowded quickly.

If you google Paradise Point lake buchanan i think the link tonit is on a guides page...rick ransom i believe. 325-379-2222...call them first to ask about day fishing. I think Hiline is open to public until dark only.

I watched an 8 year old girl land a 8 pound lmb and the biggest crappie I have ever seen about 10 mins apart on PP...just love that place and the people. They will let you fish for the day if they dont have many people renting cabins. If not you can go to Hiline. At least you could before they sold it...i dont think it has changed. Both are worth the drive and in early spring you should rent at PP and fish for whites and hybrids and striper all night!
