We started about 9:30am Christmas morning. The Trinity River at Riverside is low, green & very clear. Hopefully the pics shows well. Harmon Creek is also as clean & whites are getting very thick. I caught 40+ & all were males. Many under size but lots of keepers. I kept some that are 13"-14" for dinner. It's getting better by the day. We got off the boat & fished a sandbar. At Harmon you don't need a boat. Most guys are being tight lipped but, for those looking to catch some Whitebass look no further if you live close by. Enjoy.

I forgot about that area.Ironically there is a Riverside park ,not City, in FT.Worth.The Lock & Dam on HWY7 north of there should be pretty good also.

Riverside should be good from the bank on the north side of the bridge judging from where we caught fish. If you have a boat, most anywhere should be good. Harmon Creek is getting better by the day. Also, Kickapoo & Trinity River right at HWY 94 is getting good now.
L&D will be 2-3 more weeks before it will start. The owners don't answer the phone anymore. Awhile back I went by there & the place was trashed out beyond belief. Their yard around the house looks like a county dump.
It will get cold again in 1-2 weeks so that might help. If I go there I'll get updates.

I encountered the same thing when I made a visit to the L&D.Trash all over the place. I don`t think they are even open for business @ the marina anymore but there is still plenty of fishable h2o below.

Harmon Creek feeds into the Trinity down where it feeds into Lake Livingston. LL has some really good sand bass fishing.
