I totally disagree! I had all Revo STX reels and switched 12 various level Lews. Love the reel.

I haven't tried the Lews, but like fishspanker mentioned, once Shimano went to the $200 price point I switched to Revos. When they followed suit I went to the Abu Garcia Orra SX. Not trying to hijack, but simply give another option. I have a dozen of these Orras in both the 6.2, the 7:1 and the 5:1 Winch. I'm really impressed with them at $99.

20% off at Tackle Warehouse made them even nicer!

used revo stx reels for two years prior and at first of this year switched to lews lft reels and have not had any problems. They are well worth the trying for the price and have become my first choice for sure.

In total agreement with you. Was a big abu supporter, but since getting a lews reel, im not loyal to them. Looking to geting a 3rd lews reel

I have all Lews from the 99 speed spool to the Tournament Pro you cant beat these reels been using them since they came back out and yet to have one fail.
