Been fishing a lot of ponds near me lately. Having trouble getting them to bite. I have been mainly fishing drop shot worms and football head jigs.... Any other suggestions???

I would try a wacky worm, small spinner baits, jerkbaits and small traps

Inline spinner called a Mepps Black Fury. #3 size. Black Blade - Orange Dots on blade - Yellow/red hair on Treble hook.
Got to get just a little off the bank on warmer day. Hip Boots will do it or waders. Fish parallel with the shoreline. Fan cast from bank out; then move forward a half of a cast distance and repeat all the way around the pond.

Yum Dinger Normally I would just suggest the original Gary Yamamoto Senko but since you're fishing in a pond and you can go through a lot of little fish, I'll recommend the next best thing so you don't burn through the money in your wallet. It's hard to beat a stickbait in a pond during this time of year. I'd rig it weightless with a 3/0 extra wide gap hook and dead stick it. Just throw it out and move it VERY LITTLE. Or you can rig it wacky style and fish it that way. The Dinger is cheap but super effective. Yamamoto Senko 5" If you want the real deal then go ahead and get the actual Senko. Their wiggle on the fall is unmatched by any other stickbait on the market. You get what you pay for but you will pay.

Pond fishing in winter...I used to whack 'em on a 1/8oz ball jig and a curley tail grub slow dragged along the bottom...get some Zoom Fat Albert grubs a spinning rod with 8 to 10lb test and have fun...
