Well I decided to try something new today. I've never fished for Pickerel on the fly. I always see a few posts every year about people catching them. So this morning I tied a couple chartreuse patterns that I thought might work. I decided to give Lake Hawkins a try. I wound up with 5 Pickerel and 1 largemouth.
