I have a 14' mod v john boat. Is this a jon boat(flat bottom past vee) or do "jon boats" have to be flat bottom all the way with the flat nose?
Just wondering....

If anyone asks, tell 'em it's a Vee-Jon. Mine(pic can be seen in my post about My Dad's 1959 boat) is a flat-bottomed aluminum row boat, but was called a River Boat" by the builder. I call it a "skiff".

It's still a Jon Boat in my opinion. Mine is a mod-v too.
