I have a Diawa Steez that just feels like [censored] when reeling in line. I have seen a few posts on here in the past about someone who supertunes these reels by upgrading several components, including the bearings and spool. If someone knows who that is, please let me know as I want to give it a shot with this reel.

I have a couple of Steez reels and hardly use them because they are not near as smooth feeling as my Lews reels. They have been a disappointment. I know how you feel, sorry I can't give any advice.

I have mine at a fellow TFFers place getting fixed. I think once he figures out mine, he will be ready for more. Lol. He's been cussing me for weeks about mine.
