Joey - You make some good looking baits. I am especially interested in the Shimmer Spins. It appears that they are made for a fluke or swim bait. How do they run with a 4-5" paddle tail?

They may just be the best swim bait hooks out on the market. Couple stores down in Texas stock them. I do them in 4/0, 6/0 and 8/0 hooks. All were made with different size swim baits in mind. Their are pictures on the page with swim baits rigged on the different size hooks. No wrong way to fish these either. You can slow roll them, burn them and will always run straight and true. I know guys that are using them in place of a spinner bait to throw their swim baits on with very good results.
Thanks and let me know if I can be of any help.

I will also add that where we put the weight on our swim baits hooks is different than most of the others you see out on the market. Ours is towards the front of the hook. What this does is make your swim bait a little nose heavy. Stop reeling and your swim bait will instantly nose dive. Start reeling and it starts tracking true just like a spinner bait. Where the weight is also gives your swim bait a little side to side movement when reeling it in. Lastly, the weight will never move because of where we have it placed on the hook. Below are pictures of each hook rigged on different size swim baits. 4/0 Hook rigged on a 3.5" swim bait. 6/0 Hook rigged on a 5" swim bait. 8/0 Hooks rigged with a 6.5" swim bait.
