Good eating fish right there. Nice ones.
Side Note: Will this latest flooding effect the Crappie bite?

Thanks Gitter for the reply. The Crappie bite is GOOD when you find them. This last rainfall a couple of weeks ago did put the Guadalupe up a lot and the current picked up. I am sure the brush piles had been either washed away or moved around. Finding em is simply fishing.

Once this wind dies down myself and Jeff will be hitting the east end. Fished last week and did good. Boated about 50 and kept 20. Fish were nice ones in the 12 to 14 inch range. This front will have those Crappie on the move. Also picked up some nice Bluegill with the Crappie. 12 to 17 feet by brush piles and ledges.

East side! Crappie are there! Side Note: Got good numbers two trips in a row! Brush piles and dock slips in 16 to 20 feet of water! Look for the bait fish. Roadrunners Chartreuse/white and light blue sliders were working the best!

Crappie are staging for spawn. Getting good numbers at some of the staging spots.

Finding eggs in both Crappie and Bluegill. Looks like there will be at least four Bluegill spawns this year.
