Miller Rd and went north. Didn't go as far as i'd like (maybe quarter mile or more) as I was more enjoying playing hookie from work.

I agree. Air pressure makes no difference to me. Location is, most of the time, everything.

Sorry for the late posting...my son and I met up with my buddy KFJ on Saturday morning. Temps started out in the upper 50s/lower 60's and proceed to rise to about 72. We were into them pretty good from 7 to about 1. The wind begin to pick up and change to the north and then we shut it down. All total caught over 70 between my son and I with KFJ catching alot as well(don't know exactly how many). We ended up with this stringer of keepers. The vast majority were undersized in the 8.5 - 9.5 range. Hopefully they will grow in time for the spring spawn. One thing I noticed when cleaning that several of them already had eggs...that surprised me they had eggs already. Tight lines and be safe everyone!

A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work anyday!!!

I couldn't tell you how many times I have went to a creek and did very well when everyone else was staying home because of the pressure.

Yes, yes. I know you caught your limit yesterday. That's why I said "MOST" of the time. Others may have different experiences, but over the years, from MY personal experience, as well as many others, that seems to be the general rule. Again, just sharing from MY own personal experience.

I was simply sharing MY personal experiences, as well as many others. Simply put guys, go fishing when you can. Don't stay in because someone said the pressure is not right.

Thanks everyone for sharing your personal experiences. It is very helpful to me. thumb

Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best.
