I got enough Amazon gift cards for my birthday and decided to look into the VR tech, and since my cell phone is not capatible I ended up getting a "All In One" VR headset.

Since I have been really busy all week, I am just now starting to explore content to put on it, there will be more to come on this review as I get further into it.

So far I have copied some movies to the sd card I added and watched a little bit of Hamburger hill, its kind of like having your own personal IMAX when you just want to watch some video content, I give that 10 out of 10.

I have checked out some skydiving, roller coaster and asstd other content and give that 7 out of 10

The 360 degree view content is interesting, I have to explore that aspect some more and have no rating on that yet.

I used it for a short time with the built in web browser to browse the TFF.

Here is the headset I have

Pretty interesting little device, now I just have to find more content/apps to use with it.

I should add in case anyone is considering purchase of this type, this is my 2nd headset as the first one the "Magicsee M1 VR all in One " was sent back.

Was very blurry for me, the wifi was less than useful, and just before I boxed it up to go back it had started booting to the logo screen and then shutting off.

What kind of phone are you using in it?

They are pretty cool. I got one as a door prize and played with it. There are some games throught the "cardboard" app that are awesome. One was that you were a door gunner on a B17 and you could look down and see your legs hanging out of the plane door and you were firing a machine gun at planes coming at you. You could turn 360. Very fun game and gave you the feel of actually being there. I gave it to my grandsons and they liked it .

No offense intended.

I don't get it. I have seen the commercials. Why are people doing this?

This could take porn to a whole new level.

DaveDave: here is one example of vr use

VR Brain Surgery

Personally I think this tech is set to explode and go big time.

More and more content will be shot in 4K, better app's will be developed.

Thanks for the review Dafanman. I've been looking into getting a set and this one looks worth considering.

fuzzion: You are welcome sir, I would also recommend to anyone thinking of getting one to also get a blue tooth controller either with it or in addition to, it is a much easier way to navigate the settings menu and likely would be used for various vr apps.

I have a blue tooth controller en route, but for now I am using a usb mouse.

cheers
