Thanks Bois. I like the wire wrap because after a year of being in ur tackle box u don't pick up ur jig and the skirt stays there lol.

Thanks Bois. I like the wire wrap because after a year of being in ur tackle box u don't pick up ur jig and the skirt stays there lol. You've probably been asked a hundred times before, but what wire are you using and where do you get it? I've used fly tying wire in the past, but its too thin and tends to cut the skirt material.

I use 24 Guage wire I got from michaels. Also have stripped down old copper wire and get strands out, it's also 24 Guage which is .024". Hope this helps

I use the same wire on mine from hobby lobby it last way longer than the jigs and comes out cheaper than the rubber skirt collars in the long run.
