I've enjoyed your posts recently, Bruce. I fell in Oct helping unload a buddies boat at Amistad and found out I have a spinal stenosis now from that fall. Dr. said no driving, no boating, and no fishing. I am ready to ignore him soon about fishing. It's driving me crazy reading all your fish porn and me couped up in the house. Nice posts this past month. Keep it up.

A trip without Bruce is a trip without fish. I met Bruce about a week ago and he shared a lot of his knowledge with me and helped me to catch my limit. I went back this past friday and it was all I could do to scratch out 4!! Bruce I have the hummingbird side scan on the way so I won't be fishing blind anymore but would still like to run into you again so the master can school the student a little more.

Funny story by the way, I was working hard with no electronics trolling to locate fish by where we met last and after an hour or so I finally located them and picked up my 4 rather quickly but wouldn't you know it some guys on a bass boat pulled right into my troll path and sat right on top of the school..smh ohh well hopefully with the new electronics I will have a fighting chance!!! Keep up the good work

Kids are great and its a blast getting them on fish.

Bruce, nice to finally meet you and your son out on the lake Saturday. As we were filleting our catch, we noticed the eggs forming in the whites too, the yearly cycle repeats over and over. Those who pay attention to that, can capitalize on great fishing year after year.Thanks for the rigging tips on the casting set up, always amazed at how some little difference in rigging, can make a major difference in the catch ratio, will have a 9' rod in the near future. Glad the hybrids made an appearance for you, (but glad I didn't have to clean as many as you did, Ha!). May have to sneak out a few more times before the colder weather arrives, and changes the pattern to dead sticking. Thanks for the reports, always good to see your son's little face beaming, with his cute little smile in the pictures, reminds me of many good times with my son while he was a little guy. Enjoy it, they grow up, move off and get too busy to fish with careers, etc.
