They sure do make blue cats grow big.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

same sad song different verse.. we have only ourselves to blame and will bare the burden when the time comes. To demonize those that are trying to help does little else but make the problem much worse and ensure that nothing will get done. Don't shoot the messenger just because they brought bad news.

What bad news. Zebra Mussels have proved to clean lakes and increase fish populations.

Zebras are good for Texas

The increased water bill for all the extra maintenance related to ZMs is definitely not good for Texas.

You are correct in the short term with water clarity, but like most invasive species they eventually squeeze out the native species and alter the balance in ways that are very hard to undo if it becomes necessary. It's the same for Feral hogs, killer bees, fire ants & the like..
The fact is we will learn to live with whatever happens which is why we are all still here..

You understand every lake in Texas except one is a man made. The bass are invasive, we don't have Florida Strain in Texas they are introuduced by man, Hybrids are man made fish.

Yes all of that is true and some of what we do in the name of progress comes at a high cost to those that will follow in our foot steps.

Hydrilla is invasive but can make a lake great.
