It was my pleasure educating you on the how to's of dialing in your Humminbird unit and getting the most out of it. Give me a call if you get stuck on any of the tips we touched on.

Has anyone here on the forum done any business with Freedom outdoors before and had a boat shipped to Texas? Good, Bad or Ugly!

He cleaned up the mess of wires under the console (came that way from the factory). He fixed the wiring on my trolling motor batteries and cleaned that up and organized everything. The installation is perfect. Everything is solid, clean and in order. When I get my new trolling motor I'm going to buy it from David and have him install it. I was really impressed. Use David if you need work done.

It was a pleasure working on your boat and taking the extra steps to get things in order for you. Thank you for trusting in shut-up-and-fish to do the job right the 1st time out.

We agreed to a deal. Then, he wanted to change the price. I explained that we agreed to terms without any ambiguity. He said I know it looks bad, but I don't care.

flukeman83 hung me out to dry. We agreed on a price, time, & place to meet. I got a better offer and passed it up because I'm a man of my word and had already agreed to terms with flukeman83. The day of the meeting, he says he is no longer interested. I messaged the other buyer back and he has already got another gun instead.

Would not do business with him again. Inconsiderate and does not stand behind his word.

I bought a St Croix ML 7' inshore spinning rod from fishwfly and we were located close enough to each other that we met to make the pick up. The rod was exactly as pictured in his ad, really excellent condition, as if brand new.

A really nice young man and a serious fisherman so I had a chance to visit with him, see some of his other really nice gear he had with him to fish that day.

He really takes excellent care of his gear; I'd have no reservations, at all, buying something from him again, sight unseen, since he maintains it so well, represents it accordingly.

Bought a reel from Bryanj and it was great. First of all it was a great deal to begin with, and he was prompt in getting it shipped out to me and maintaining communication. There was some silliness with the package not actually being delivered when the tracking info said it was, but that's certainly not his fault.

Not quite all correct,,,,,, I did not say I was no longer interested ,,,,,,, what I did say was that the SEARS shotgun was way over valued, according to a gunsmith, and I therefore did not want buy it. It appears that Patriot07 does not like it when his "fish" gets away. If the shotgun was priced right he would not have had to drop the asking price from $400 to $300 and still have it.

So I bought a shotgun from wktriton without any issue. The shotgun was priced right and he even threw in 4 boxes of ammo.
Also recently bought some boat trailer steps from reinke with no issue.

I guess it really depends on whether or not the deal is right for both parties and the seller is not trying to get one over on you.

Just sold it for $450 shipped ($250 more than you said it was worth). Your gunsmith "expert" doesn't know what he was talking about.

You did say you were "no longer interested" at the price we agreed upon. Funny how your only way to dispute my statement is through a silly lie based on incorrect semantics. I can only assume that wktriton is a buddy of yours or something like that. Or someone who sold a gun for half the value (which is what you wanted from me).

Bottom line - you should have investigated value before you made an offer on it and agreed on a price, time, and place to meet and after I had already planned my entire week around it. Your selfishness left my wife without a lunch, me having to make a separate, inconvenient trip to Rockwall, and having coordinated incorrect schedules with my boss.

I'm a man - when I say I'll do something, I do it. You aren't, which is why I made sure the entire TFF knows about it. What you showed was a lack of integrity and intelligence. I'm glad I didn't sell it to you. It's a good gun and deserves an owner who will appreciate it.
