Hit Dunlap today 8:00 til 2:00. Only saw 3 or 4 boats on the water all day ? Water temp 70 degrees, water clear and at normal pool. Fish were super active...caught 1 Rio, 1 catfish, 12 bass, and 60+ bluegill. Fish caught with night crawlers on bottom. Fished upper third of river...best bites came close to drop-offs or ledges...

Well...so much for the river fishing for a while...checked it out yesterday (from the bridge) and saw very muddy fast moving water. We got 5 inches of rain total over the past few days. Am curios to know how Laker did last week before all the rain hit ? Also, does anyone know if all this rain will affect the trout stocking schedule ? Thanks in advance...

Did pretty good on Dunlap last week. Kept 10 Bluegill for the frying pan. Over all caught about 30 to 40 fish which included Bluegill,Redbreast,Bass, and a couple of Crappie! Also caught one Rio. I also drove by Dunlap,Mcqueeney, and Placid and all of them are a muddy mess! Strong currents as well. I picked up a little over 6" of rain on my back patio gauge. I fished the Trail Race below Canyon Dam Saturday and limited out on the trout. Current is running strong but have several places that are out of the current where the fish stack. As for this upcoming stocking there should be no problem. Late this afternoon and for the next seven days after NO RAIN. Colder temperatures are also fore castes for this week and weekend. Great trout and crappie weather ahead!

Side Note: The current on the river lakes will play a huge factor on the Crappie bite!

Friends of mine fished Dunlap today and said current is fast and the water is muddy. They picked up a couple of nice Blue Cats in the twenty pound range which were released.
