The Fall/Winter Pattern for Eater Size Channels and Blues has set in on RC with LOTS of fish being caught in the heavy timber up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake. If you get there early enough, find the Commorants Roost and you're all but guaranteed a box full of fish. The larger Blues have moved in recently as the water temp has cooled to the low 60's. The best depth varies from day to day as we've caught fish from 10' to 20' FOW but almost always on a creek channel or contour break. All our fish are coming on Danny Kings Blood Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook. One word of caution is to "BE CAREFUL"! In the past month, I've torn one transducer off and put a sizable gash in the hull on one of our boats. We're moving around at a snails pace, fishing in the areas where the tree tops are just below the surface and bumping a lot of stumps!
