After keeping my boat in dry storage at Silverlake Marina, I now find out I'm able to access the marina slips and fish.
My question is...what kind of jigs do I buy? What size line and jig weight? I'm not really interested to in fishing with minnows. Also any tips and tactics you might want to share would really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help👍🏻

If it was me, I'd just carry an assortment like Chartreuse/Blue, Chartreuse/White, Chartreuse/Black & all White. You might ask any local's what color is popular on that lake. For slip fishing, especially if they're under roof, stick with a short (5'-5 1/2') light action spinning rod, light reel spooled with 6-8# Hi-Vis line for jigs in 1/32oz or 1/16oz. But that's just MHO.

Pepop's suggestions are excellent. He makes some nice jigs, and deserve a place in your tackle box. I do well with my jigs also. White/chartreuse, purple/chartreuse and some gray patterns are doing well right now. I fish Scott's often. I like a 5.5' rod, light line and 1/16 oz jigs.

A tactic I've had work when they wouldn't bite anything else is to tie up a tiny 1/64 oz jig, almost like a flyfishing fly, just a little bit of hair and a single piece of tinsel coming out the tail, super tiny thing. That paired with a crappie nibble, allowed to drift down underneath the walkways, has caught fish when noone else was catching. Something you might try.
Yes, Brazos is my real name.
