Looks to be a few lakes in that area and a few streams/rivers. I just don't know if they run that close to salt.

Try the upper reaches of Lake Texana and Coleto Creek reserviors.

Thank jimbo. I have been looking at both if those lakes via google maps and navionics. They look good but I'm not finding any solid reports on whites there. I plan to fish both of them though.

Many years ago, when I lived in Victoria, I caught white bass up in Coleto Creek, near Colet Inn. I also caught a few near the boat launch where the Navidad River meets Lake Texana.

Anyone fish the Victoria barge channel? Is it accessible and fishable. A little info on that would help, please.
