I didn't have time to fish today, but was running a few errands and thought, "What the heck, I'll just scoot down to the river for a few minutes to see if anyone is having any luck." Luckily, I got there a few minutes ahead of the TPWD crew.

Yep! Fish starting biting about five minutes after the truck left. I actually thought about walking down there and hanging out to see if anyone was having any luck, but I knew that if I spent another moment that close to the river I'd wind up taking my fishing gear out of the car and blowing off work for the day! Mid-December things start slowing down considerably for me, maybe we'll get a chance to go fishing together in the next few weeks.
