Yesterday on my way home from fishing another Goodyear Marathon blowout. This is no way to end the day. fortunately it was on the passenger side so I was out of harms way while I changed it. Question or rather opinion, what are your recommendations for a replacement. I've had enough of Goodyear Marathon's which I discovered are made in china.
I should add, it didn't just go flat it blew out.

Skeeter ZX190. I think if it was the boat I would have already had problems. The other Goodyear blowout was on a Ranger I had before this one.

That's what I thought. Rangers and Skeeters are bad about this.

Triangle tires are made in China too and they don't offer trailer tires.

Wow, I bet there are a lot of Bassmaster Elite pro's that are sorry to hear that.

Couldn't find'em on their website. Maybe all tires are made in china.

I recently bought a set of Carlisle from Discount Tire. They seem to be doing fine.

A friend swears by Maxxis tires. I could have ordered them through Discount but I needed the tires right then as I was going on a road trip.

About 8 months and probably around 2000 miles. As you can see the tread looks good but the reviews I've read say Marathons have a history of splitting. The tire has a C load range which is normal for my weight boat. Keep hearing and reading good reviews about Maxxis but have to order them through discount.
