Thank you for the update. I have not had my boat up there to the log jam south of 380 since the spring/early summer. The south winds and lack of flow have created a huge sand bar/flat at the mouth, not to mention the huge amount of washed out logs and debris.. I have yet to find a channel to get through it, if anyone knows where it is I would love to know. PM me please or hell you can ride up there with me in my 18' Tracker and we'll fish the river..usually have an open seat.

Last November we HAMMMERED the Crappie in the river, makes me sad I have not been able to run up there recently. Need the thump.

That sand/silt will probably be there a while. Not to mention the 2 old trucks on the west side of the mouth that will probably ruin your prop. When I went up during the extreme drought, I didn't see much of a channel. With the amount of silt and debris that comes down, the "channel" probably changes daily.

I was up there too in the drought, I do remember a couple vehicles down there but they were away from the mouth and burned to a crisp. Used to go down there muddin and fishin to get away from the women with a buddy of mine.

If you stay to the east and go straight at it theres logs for days, if you go south of the logs there is a sand bar.. Wont ruin anything but a trolling motor prop if I try again which is likely.
