Well, I picked up my Christmas present tonight. I'm very excited to have my own kayak. I was hoping to at least take it out this weekend but they're calling for rain on both Saturday and Sunday. Congratulations!! Looks like you got it at Bear Mountain in CS. Nice folks.
I upgraded my yak about two weeks ago. I did an all day trip on Lake Bastrop and a morning trip at Gibbons, but I'm excited to paddle up the creeks at Somerville. Really bummed about the weekend weather.

Very nice SOT. I have an Old Town Caspian for the back coves on Twok... one thing I learned about keeping the well dry is to cut down some swim noodles and plug the hole. It does not affect balance,handling or add weight. Good luck with it.

 congrats, i too got my present early, inflatable intext explorer k2. took it it for a test run then a fishing run, caught a chunky lil 3 pounder (guessing, prolly was more like 2 lol) i have a big feeling 2017 is going to be awesome for fishing. stay safe, wear a life jacket, and dont forget the gopro like i did haha.
