If you assume that Toledo Bend, Fork, Sam Rayburn, and Falcon are the top lakes in Texas. Generally speaking of course.

What's the next best 4 or 5 lakes in Texas besides those?

My favorite:
Lavon, Winnsboro Pat Mayse and Bob Sandlin

Always catch fish and have had some of my best stringers on those lakes.

I have always enjoyed Eagle Mountain as well as Squaw but Ray Roberts should be up there I would think

I've never fished amistad or ivie so I can't include those but pines, and caddo are the first two I think of, then Conroe and after that they kind of get bunched up for me
