Very cool... what was interesting to me was the reaction, or non-reaction, of the other fish in the vicinity.

Cool video. It supports my theory that when a Bass is in a feeding mode it doesn't matter what pound test or color your line is. I think we all have a tendency to overthink it.

I did that years ago when I lived in Wisconsin. We cheated and used live crayfish we found while diving. We found if you turned over rocks and flushed out crayfish the smallmouth would kind of follow you for an easy meal. A dive buddy got the idea to put one of these crayfish on a hook and go fishing while under water. Had a bunch of fun doing this. Caught my PB smallmouth (over six) doing this. I guess it does not count though.
Once while night diving, a Muskie hit the buckle on my fin strap. We had seen several smaller fish (Muskies) 25"-30" along this stretch of underwater reef called appropriately "Muskie Reef". All of a sudden I felt this violent "hit" on the side of my fin. When I looked back with my light, there was one of these smaller Muskies eyeing my fin buckle. Still go the fin somewhere with a tooth mark on it.
