Water temp is down in the high 50's after this last front, I suspect the shad and fish are in deeper water. I haven't seen schooling action on Tawakoni in over a month. It's the time of year when fishing get tough.

I recommend hiring a guide Nick and save yourself a lot of time learning how to catch'em through the winter. They can be caught but takes some different tactics and locating them can change from morning to noon to evening. Jimmy Smith is a great guide and teacher on Tawakoni. You can google his name and get a phone number.
