I had to remove the keel guard off my boat as it came loose in a couple spots. I want to replace it but first need to remove the sticky mess where the old one was. Any tips on how or what to use?

X2 and wear some rubber gloves and a have a fan behind you blowing the fumes away from you.
If it was easy, everyone would do it

You can also use a rubber wheel, more mess but no fumes. Can get them at an auto body supply, also get dust masks and goggles.

Scraper, with Goop Off, or Oops, and a wire brush with cordless drill. when finished just throw the brush away.
Long hard job to remove the stuff. Way easier to install than to remove. Good Luck.
If you decide not to do it your self. I can remove it for $100 if you are up this way and can drop it off for a day. Warm weather is best.
Just let me know in advance so we can fit it in.
Thanks
