ok so im thinking on putting my bass rods down and picking up my catfish rods up full-time.
my husband netted some decent bluegills and three 7-9 inch shad. heres the thing, we like to abide by safety regulations etc.
the lake/reservoir where he got the bait fish from has a dam that spills over to pool/creek. BUT that lake is super high pressured because theres only three small isolated spots to bank fish from. we do have 2 other fishing spots where we can bank fish from (spot 1 where baitfish were netted, lake is a branch off from the Nueces and reconnect miles downstream, spot 2, is another lake/reservoir part of the Nueces parallel to spot 1, spot 3 is 10 miles north on the Nueces river)
is it safe to use bait as cutbait on other two fishing spots?
Hi, I'm Faith and I'm addicted to fishing. Now if you don't mind, I'll be getting back to my fishing.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
