Spent the Thanksgiving holiday on Lake Greeson in Arkansas with my girlfriend and decided to try my hand on the crappie. It's an absolutely beautiful lake,we did pretty well considering its the first time I've targeted them there. Weather was cool all week, it stayed cloudy and in the 40's but tolerable. Targeted brushpiles and rock piles in 15-25' and had the most hook ups on minnows, very timid bite. But the bigger fish came on jigs.

Just the way I like them...straight into ice cold water. So much easier to filet that cold meat.
