Fish having been coming pink/white and blue/chart jigs.
Good luck to all that come to Pines.
Will try to post something every Thursday after a week on the water:

If you in the area stop by and we will try to help fine some crappie, we are just east of Johnson creek on FM 729, we move here from Caddo in July of 2015

I saw the post about the fish attractors. Did you have them in your yard of off 729?

Yes; we have 60 in our front yard, the men from the TPW office in Marshall are coming thursday to help us make up about 60 more. Hope we can start putting some out soon. Will have GPS on all we put out. It is Unlawful to put out brush in Pines that why we started FishHabit-101 to work with the TPW to get express permissiom to do this work on pines and we plan on working TPW to do other lake as we get the money to do so.
Hope to see some of Y'all on pines.

That's cool, I saw them there last weekend and thought to myself that someone had some serious sinking to do. I'll be patiently waiting on the GPS coordinates smile

Looking forward to your weekly reports. Sounds like the fish haven't yet started stacking up on the river/creek channels as is the winter pattern. You catching yours near Johnson Creek?

Going out next Tuesday with the TPW to find some location to start sinking some, we got about a 1/3 of the 350 we plan to make.
December 1st start the cold water rule on Pines, there is no MLL, daily bag = 25 in any combination, and all crappie caught must be retained.
Good luck to all.
Not to many boat today, main lake had about 25 boats out there. If we mid lake and had good luck on jigs in 15-18' fish the timber brush piles.
