Hi everyone, I've been fishing Ray Bob last 4 weeks as much as I can. It seems the worse the wind blows the better the fish bite. Is anyone else experiencing this on other lakes? Days are always great, but the windy days are ridiculous(the bite not the ride lol).

Good for me during dead sticking time. The worst the wind the crazier the catching gets. Baits get blown around water gets agitated fish go crazy. I had a sheriff check my sanity at the boat ramp to make sure I'm not crazy before he allowed me to launch this one windy day. I kid you not. Only bad side about the wind is it's hard to feel the light bites.
Did I mention it was windy, cold and wet!! I ended up catching lots of hybrids including my personal best hybrid on this crappy day. And many more crappy days after that.

Lmao, I had 1 @ the ramp watching me!! He left as I came in....but the bite was strong & I went back out. I almost went down a few times. It was like being @ the gulf and could see fish I the waves!! Crazy! I had nightmares that night. A couple days before thanksgiving. North wind on south end of lake.

Dr. Whiplash, you are not drinking enough " Blue Cokes". An IPA adult beverage will give you additional courage. We fished Monday , winds from the NNW @ 29-40 mph. I-Pilot on rabbit to keep from going in reverse. We did ketch lots of fish,
