For the first time in a couple of years, RC has a good Fall bite on the White Bass and Hybrid Stripers happening. We have mostly Catfished the past couple of Fall/Winters and did extremely well on both Blues and Channels. This year it looks like we will have the option of fishing for the Scaly Fish or the Catfish as both have been on an aggressive bite for the early Fall. While most of the Hybrids have been under 18", we occasionally catch a Keeper Fish. Everything is pointing toward a great Season as the weather is finally cooling, the Lake is less than 1' low and the fish are biting. Fish the timber up the Richland Arm with Danny King's Punch Bait on a #4 Treble for your Catfish, and RSR 1oz. Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) will catch both Whites and Hybrids on the Main Lake Humps and Points. Or...just hire us to learn the Lake, catch a freezer full of fish and enjoy a GREAT Fall Day! Here's pics from the last few days!

The Cool Front last Thursday didn't slow the White Bass action much at all. Really figured the High Pressure System that followed would really put a damper on the fishing, but on Friday and Saturday we had both boats out and cleaned 150 fish limit on Friday and 120 fish on Saturday. Monday and Tuesday of this week was much the same as three Senior Citizens from Brenham fished with us both days and kept 68 and 52 Whites respectively. Still catching them with RSR Slabs with a Jig Teaser on Main Lake Humps and Points in 15-25 FOW. Here's a few Pics and if you want to get in on the action, give us a call!!! roflmao

White Bassin' continued to be good last week with LOTS of small fish mixed in with the Keepers and an occasional Hybrid Striper. Check out the Main Lake Points, Humps and Roadbeds in 20'-35' FOW. All our fish came on RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures ) with a Jig Teaser above them. No Catfishing last week, but we have a couple of trips planned this week to chase the Whisker Fish. Adam and I have November Weekday openings, a couple of Saturdays with a boat still open and even one boat open during the Thanksgiving Holiday Friday/Saturday period. We fish everyday except for Sunday and cater to Families. Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz .

Here's a few pics from last week's outings:

The good fishing continued this week as I fished Tuesday & Wednesday and then took today (Thursday) off as we rescheduled for a better weather day. We'll be back at it Friday and Saturday and then have several 'Special Veteran's Day' trips planned for next week. We did a Combo Catfish and White Bass trip both days this week and managed a full ice chest full of 'Eater Size' Cats and around 25 Whites both outings. The action is great as the Fall Fishing is getting better and better! Catfish came on DK's Blood Punch Bait in the timber on the Richland Arm of the Lake and the Whites came off the Windsock Point both days on RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) . We have November Weekday openings and even a couple of Saturdays with a boat still open. Here's a couple of pics!

Another very good week on RC as the Catfish bite continues to be about as good as it gets and the better Blues are showing up as the Cooler temps arrive. The White Bass action was really good in early week but slowed on Friday & Saturday AM trips. I heard the PM bite was very good and am guessing the Full Moon is the reason. The Lake is in excellent condition, water temps are around 72 degrees and you just can't beat a Fall Day on the Lake. Each day is a constant reminder why Fall is my FAVORITE SEASON OT THE YEAR! thumb We have plenty of Weekday openings and even one boat still open on the upcoming November Saturdays. Been fortunate to fish most of the week of Thanksgiving and again today. The small cool fronts, a little rain and some WINDY days did keep us off the Lake a few days over the past couple of weeks, but we've also had some really nice Fall days like today!!! The fishing has been "as good as it gets" with LOTS of Catfish, White Bass and a few Hybrid Stripers mixed in. It just doesn't get much better! Easy limits on Catfish up the Richland Creek in the timber with Danny Kings Punch Bait on a #4 Treble Hook. The White Bass and Hybrids are literally all over the Main Lake from the Flats to Pelican Island to the 287 Roadbed. RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com )can get you a hook up on all sizes and species!

We have plenty of December Weekday openings and even a Saturday or two with a Boat still open. Round up the Kiddos and Family/Friends during the Christmas Holidays and Let's Go Fishin'!

Here's Pics from the past few days:

I guess it's about time to change the Subject from FALL to WINTER FISHING ON RICHLAND CHAMBERS! grin The Arctic Blast kept us off the lake several days last week as the strong North Winds and below freezing temps were just too much to brave. I managed to get in a Friday Afternoon and Saturday Morning Catfish trip and we did well with a full Ice Chest of nice size Blues and Channels each trip. The Cats are still in the timber and can be caught on Danny Kings Punch Bait. I also conducted a short Saturday Afternoon Trip for Whites and Hybrids and we found fish on the Main Lake Points and Humps in 35' FOW. The water temp has lowered to the low 50's and the bite is soft. Lift that Slab verrrry slowly!

Adam and I have plenty of December Openings if you want to learn the Wintertime techniques that will result in a good Fish Fry! banana

Here's Friday & Saturday's results!
