I am looking at getting my dad a Lew's reel for Christmas. My budget is no more than $150. He just needs a good general reel for bass fishing.

Go to the Academy website - they have a special on Lews reels-reg. $119.99 on sale for $69.99. You can get him two reels within your price range and he will love them. I have several and they never let me down!

the lews tournament laser reels are great. my favorite reels in the lews lineup. theyre 69$ right now from 129. completely worth it. just picked my third one up!
