For all you Kistler fans, I am looking for options on a solid rattle trap rod and C-Rig rod... any opinions on power and length for each option? So far I use the Mag series for top water and love em, but wanted to see what ya'll think. Thanks in advance!

Feel N Reel series. Length can be personal preference. I use a 7' rod.

Did you see my earlier post about the discounts?

i use the 7'8 swimbait rod KLX its a heavy power rod with a moderate action. got this because i use braid as main line on crig and there is a little more load to the rod which is what i like..... i would look at the black friday deal on the feel n reel 7' heavy rod, great for ripping traps out of grass

I have 9 KLX rods that I use for moving baits and they are excellent for that purpose. I think there are better choices available for bottom contact, jig and worm rods and I use a different brand for those applications.

If you're near the Houston area stop by their business and check them out. I live in Magnolia which is where their office is and I recently went by there to buy some rods. It's not necessarily a good thing having them so close!
