We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

I took a friend out last night for his first night Fork trip. We caught around 15 with the largest being 8 pounds. They were pretty aggressive all night. He's hooked now. Didn't see any Christmas lights but did see a large buck and a ton of deer.

Good job Paul!
Man, I need to get back out there myself, it's getting to be prime time for the next couple months.
A lot of people think that it's too cold at night this time of year but with proper layering of a few clothes you can stay comfortable all night. Plus when your catching big fish they keep your adrenaline running!

+1 Layer correctly..yes you will be fine. Danny you know me and that this is the time of the year I look forward to. For those that have fished or know me, you know Paul will say "In order to catch Big Fish, sometimes you got to Suffer" and Tennesse and Brandon I will see you very soon looking forward to it. And to Bobby Milam you know you are not allowed to come here unless you hollar at me 1st..hehe

That was going to be my last night trip to Fork this year BUT, I may come back another time or two before it gets too cold. Happy to give you a call. I wasn't too sure how busy you've been guiding lately. He is right, he'll remind you all night "In order to catch big fish, sometimes you have to suffer." LOL.

If anyone wants to have a great night time fishing trip at Fork and see some big fish, call Paul. He's a great guy and knows the lake well. He went with me and a friend for fun before he started guiding again. Even then, with no money involved he kept telling us where to throw or what to try and would sit back and not cast saying that he wanted us to catch a big one. thumb
