You can call and find out, their number is 903-389-6831. The plant is closing in 2018 unless Trump stops the EPA.

Spent the afternoon on Fairfield. 84 degree water at the outlet. 73 degree water at the back ramp. Fished 4 hours without a bite.

It means that lake is still the dead sea most days of the week.

There have been a lot of fish die offs on this lake the last 3 or 4 yrs. The TP&W had been stocking it but they decided starting this year it was a waste and not to stock it anymore. The fish die offs (I was told) was contributed to low oxygen. Maybe if the plant shuts down the water can get a little vegetation in it and the fish will recover on their own.

have not made a trip since march, but this time last year thru march it was extremely good, lots of numbers and quality fish up to 5 pounds.

but, you could not just plant yourself in the discharge. you had to look for them.

I did an article on the lake last year for Lone Star Outdoors concerning the "die off". My conclusion, as it was last winter, was the lake is actually fishing better than it has in MANY years.

Several tourneys last year took 20+ to place in the money.
