I have been fishing Lville all year.

Fish have been on shad early in the back of coves. Then pulling out to secondary points and brush on points. Cranks and spinnerbait early. Then creature baits into brush on the deeper side later.

Boat ramps are hot spots if you slow down. Big spots there.

If I was fishing that tourney I'd park on a ramp and work it over. Then pull out to brush on quick drop points.

But I'm a kayak fisherman so take that for what it's worth.

PS NO WAKE means that. Most bass boats don't respect that out there.

Good thing you're keeping all the info on the DL.

It's a super secret bite.

Fished Lewisville all day Friday...... KVD 2.5 Sexy Shad got biggest LM at about 4.5 lbs. All LM's were caught near something obvious. Generally have been running various rip rap with good luck - not today. Fish were near a dock, limb, trash, structure of some kind. Was surprised to get one LM on pumpkin baby brush hog. Threw a large silver rattle trap and got so many large hybrids I lost count - great fun but will not win a tourney.

Tried a couple of deep hotspots with no luck. The biting LM's for me were shallow and glued to structure.

Lewisville is a blast right now for large numbers and lots of fun. Bring a good net!

Did pretty well today on C-rig tubes. Yeah tubes. Oldy but a goodie.

Deeper than they have been. But same idea. Brush on points. 15 feet or so. Had to be pretty slow.

Let us know how you do. Good luck.

Agree with Dan - early Sat morn bite was slow after front. Got better as afternoon went on but good shallow water spots three weeks ago produced nada yesterday; fish had moved about 6 feet deeper.
