Think of it this way. You are on a tower and below the tower you have a spotlight shining left and 1 shining right. Now if something is out there you will see it and the shadow. The shadow will have more detail because it is bigger.

Its clearly a yeti in both pictures!
Hard to tell on weight but id say probably around 220-230,
looks like a young one!
